You are welcome to join The Sydney Hills Youth Orchestra if you are:

- under the age of 25
- have been playing orchestral instruments for about five years
-OR-
- at the level of AMEB grade 5, 6, 7, 8, AMus, LMus (or equivalent)

Rehearsals: Friday 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm at TLC Theatre Baulkham Hills High School
Membership Fee: $700 for 4 school terms

You are welcome to join The Sydney Hills Junior Orchestra if you are:

      - under the age of 15

 

      - have been playing orchestral instruments for about two years

 

    - OR- - at the level of AMEB grade 1 to 5 (or equivalent)

Rehearsals: Friday 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at TLC Theatre Baulkham Hills High School

Membership Fee: $600 for 4 school terms

JOIN THE SYS ORCHESTRAS

Membership Fee
All revenues (membership fees, concert ticket sales, etc.) will go towards The SCO Foundation to be used to promote new music of contemporary composers.
 
Membership annual fee of  $700 (for 4 school terms) is asked of each member for the Sydney Hills Youth Orchestra (SHYO), and $600 for the Sydney Hills Junior Orchestra (SHJO).

The fee is calculated in 4 school term blocks for all members (e.g. if you join from term 2 of the year, your membership will be extended to next year term 1).

  2. Payments must be completed before the first rehearsal.  

You are welcome to join us at any time.

  • Young musicians joining the SYS Orchestras will need to fill up your Online Membership Registration Form 
  • After submitting your Application Form you will also need to pay a $60 audition fee and send a short video recording of your performance as an audition to management@sys.org.au
  • You will be notified via membership payment instructions should your application be successful via email.
  • Successful members will have a website login account to access the Members Zone to download music parts.
