SUMMER TRAINING & SUMMER CONCERT 2020
Sydney Contemporary Youth Orchestra
Collaboratively hosted by the Sydney Contemporary Youth Orchestra (SCYO) and the Sydney Olympic Park (SOPA), this Summer Concert 2020 is a fantastic training program for young musicians of all Sydney suburbs.
Specially designed for young music lovers, the program features the highest artistic value, the most educational and enjoyable music of classical, romantic and contemporary.
It provides an opportunity to enhance musical absorption capabilities both technically and musically by a concentrated training within a week, and a concert.
Who can join: Young orchestral musicians under the age of 25 at the level of AMEB grade 5 and above or equivalent.
REHEARSALS:
Friday 24 January 2020. 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Venue: Armory Theatre, Sydney Olympic Park
- Monday 20/1 string sections.
- Tuesday 21/1 wind and brass sections
- Wednesday 22/1 - Full orchestra
- Thursday 23/1 - Full orchestra
- Friday 24/1 - Full orchestra
CONCERT:
Saturday 25 January 2020. 7:30pm
Venue: Open Theatre, Sydney Olympic Park

Membership fee: $300
(Valid creative kids voucher can be used to save $100.)
