 stra (SCO) proudly presents the Sydney International Composers Concert 201
 8.\nThe Sydney International Composers Concerts were created for today's c
 omposers\, to provide real opportunities for new orchestral music to be pe
 rformed and heard by today's audiences.\nMusic history is written by compo
 sers\, and these composers are commendable and should be highly respected 
 for their hard work\, their dedication to the art\, and their generous con
 tribution to our music culture. All the composers who take part in the Syd
 ney International Composers Consents do so without requiring payment of ro
 yalties they would otherwise be entitled. They do this because they are co
 nvinced that the continued performance of new music is essential to the de
 velopment of our music culture.\nThanks to the SCO Foundation\, that by it
 's limited funds it has enabled this project to happen.\nFeaturing 5 new w
 orks by contemporary composers from the USA\, Italy\, Brazil\, and Austral
 ia\, and with our passionate and dedicated musicians\, Sydney Internationa
 l Composers Concert 2018 is an amazing opportunity to hear new orchestral 
 music of contemporary composers\, to share their musical ideas\, philosoph
